Could you imagine sailing from Venice to Grado, to Mantua, to Ferrara, to Treviso and to other places inland, among rivers, lagoons, locks, movable bridges, unforeseen events and wonderful experiences surrounded by nature? Could you imagine it done by rowing?

Well, a passionate group of women did it, making several routes, covering hundreds of kilometres at the pace of rowing, facing daily challenges, encountering wonderful opportunities to get to know wonderful people and natural, urban and cultural places. All from a unique perspective: from the water.

From their many years of experience comes a logbook recounting their journeys, including morning wake-up calls and daily anecdotes, supplemented by a practical user manual for anyone wishing to replicate their experience, complete with technical information, stages and illustrated maps.

Each itinerary includes a descriptive collection of the places that the participants of 'Un Po... di Donne' visited during their journeys. There is no lack of travel photographs documenting the enchanting perspectives of a different everyday life seen from the water, combined with the most curious moments experienced by the Canottieri Giudecca di Venezia team.
